Conservative Group members have formally challenged the Council’s decision to introduce the highest charges in the North-West (£56) for Green Bin collection, by submitting a ‘Referral Request’ (or ‘Call-In’) of the decision.
Tatton MP Esther McVey spoke yesterday about this proposed cut to front-line services; “I am extremely concerned the Labour-Independent coalition at Cheshire East Council are proposing to close the Stanley Centre in Knutsford.”
During the previous lockdown, Conservative Councillor, Tony Dean, championed the voice of Knutsford Residents and campaigned for Cheshire East Council to reverse their irrational decision to close the park.
KNUTSFORD’S Conservative councillors are calling for Tatton Park to be reopened for walkers. The park has been closed since March 21 because of the coronavirus pandemic, and councillors want to see it open again, at least for pedestrians, as soon as possible.
